This is no more a buzz as sources have confirmed Shahid’s papa Pankaj Kapoor making his debut directorial with ‘Mausam’. Setting aside all his other projects, Shahid Kapoor has now decided to be his father’s right hand in all sections of production process. Apart from playing lead role in his father’s film, Shahid has been putting earnest efforts of accomplishing this project with excellence.

Now both Pankaj and Shahid Kapoor will kick-start with all India-talent hunt from Nov 26, which will introduce a new girl as Shahid’s heroine. The talent hunt will be held across 6 cosmopolitan cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad. Participants from small cities and towns can also participate in this talent hunt at their nearest centres.

Pankaj Kapoor along with the help of film’s producers Sheetal Talwar and Madhu Mantena will take the help of a television channel to pick out the best talents and both father-son will select the winner.

According to the sources, Shahid Kapoor has charged Rs. 12Crores as remuneration. With his ‘Kaminey’ turning to be one of the biggest grosser of this year, the actor has likely hiked his salary.
